It is customary in Israel to eat pomegranate at the Rosh Hashanah meal, as each of the seeds represents one of the 613 commandments we are to follow. Of course, the pomegranate is also one of the seven species of the land of Israel mentioned in the Bible, making this design as meaningful as it is beautiful.

Barbara Shaw
Barbara Shaw was born in Sydney, Australia, and made the bold decision to follow her heart and move to Israel in 1986.
Barbara has an incredible eye for color and design. When looking for unique, made-in-Israel gifts, she discovered that what she was looking for did not exist. She immediately went to work and designed bright, uniquely Israeli aprons, dish towels, and tote bags that she could give as gifts.
In 2008 she formally established her business. She expanded her line to include designs on ceramics, serving-ware, wood, glass, stationary, perspex, baby gifts, a Yiddish line, and t-shirts.
Barbara’s goal is to create beautiful, practical modern items that capture the spirit of Israel. Her tag line is “Jewish gifts that smile;) And it is hard to imagine not feeling joyful when looking at her functional art.
Barbara’s diverse team, which now includes her son Boaz, who is working on business development with his mom, is committed to excellence. All of Barbara’s gorgeous creations are made in her Jerusalem workshop.
